Procedure for application and nomination
The IFCS (International Federation of Classification Societies) provides awards to single persons in the framework of its Chikio Hayashi Awards Program (CHA). The awards are scientific prizes for young researchers with a promising track record in classification, data analysis, or related areas, as a support of their professional career. Candidates shall present a paper at the IFCS conference and shall be under the age of 35 years at that time.
Timetable
May 15th, 2011: Candidates must have submitted their CHA application to the chair of the Awards Committee, Dr. Gilles Celeux (email link). The application form can be downloaded by clicking here.
May 20, 2011: Candidates will be notified of the evaluation results.
